Meshii came about to serve the solo diner and solo traveler who wants to share a table with an interesting companion for an evening. As a solo diner and traveler myself, these experiences are always the highlight of my nights out, where conversations start and wander, and a serendipitous evening unfolds in unpredictable ways over great food and good company.
The problem was never the restaurant. It was finding the right person to sit across from. Meshii exists to solve exactly that.

Match with your perfect dinner guest
Match with a companion for the evening based on criteria you set. Choose age, gender, archetype (The Creative, The Introvert Out, The Sommelier, The Polymath...) interests, profession and more. Or if you're feeling spontaneous, roll the dice and match with anyone. You curate the experience.
No pressure, just dinner
Not a date, not a BFF, just an interesting companion for a meal. Where the conversation goes from there is entirely up to you.

No. Meshii is built for solo diners and travellers who want an interesting companion for one evening out. It is not about appearances, just the personality you bring to the table. Nothing romantic is implied and nothing is expected after the meal.
You browse restaurants and join the virtual waitlist at any you want to try. Set a day and time or leave it open. When someone else joins the same waitlist and you are a mutual fit, you both get a match. You review their profile and accept or pass.
Never. You review every match before anything is confirmed, and either side can pass. Nothing happens until you both say yes.
You choose who you meet, you meet in a public restaurant, and you can report or block anyone at any time. Your matching preferences, including gender, are enforced as hard filters rather than suggestions.
Nothing today. Every feature is free during the San Francisco beta. Paid tiers are coming later and we will show you the prices well before anything changes.
